Looking to run a career fair without the cost and hassle of a physical venue? InXpo’s Virtual Career Fairs enable exhibiting companies to post positions and provide information to candidates about their company, while receiving resumes and engaging with interested candidates. Career Fairs can be stand-alone events or can be integrated into any type of Corporate Virtual Event or Virtual Trade Show. Provided as a hosted service, access to the Career Fair for your participants is secure, fast and simple through the participant’s browser with NO download required.
Set-up and participation in a Career Fair is fast and easy. The exhibitors who are offering the open positions build and brand their booth online with an easy-to-use booth-builder tool. In the booth, the exhibitor provides information about the company that would attract potential candidates as well as a list of available positions. When an applicant clicks on the list of positions within a company’s booth, they see a summary of positions, they post a resume and they can interact directly with company representatives.
Candidates can also upload profile information (i.e. work history, skills, certifications) in addition to attaching resumes. They can even include a video resume in their profile! The candidate's profile and resumes are available to exhibitors when the candidate applies for a position.
Why Virtual Career Fairs?
Highly-Engaging and Interactive: Company representatives staffing the booth interact with candidates via chat, video chat and e-mail to answer questions about the company and the positions. The representatives have immediate access to the resume provided by the candidate and can discuss their questions directly with the candidate. The goal of the Career Fair and the interaction between company representatives and the candidates is to establish the beginning of the relationship, make the screening process more efficient, and if there’s interest, schedule that all-important face-to-face interview!
Easy To Apply: Candidates can track what companies and positions they applied for and with whom they interacted. Each candidate has a profile area where they include information about themselves that would enable quick screening by the recruiters. They can even have different resumes targeted to different types of positions. Exhibitors have real-time access to reports that list which candidates posted applications for which positions, the status of those applicants, and which individuals from the company the candidate interacted with (via chat, e-mail and virtual-business-card exchange).
Anonymous Information-Gathering: Some candidates prefer not to be identified in a Career Fair until they want to apply for a position or engage with a company representative. Optionally, a candidate can mask their identity while in the Career Fair until they want to engage.
